Panasonic is a global leader in the word of electronics founded in 1918 by Mr Konosuke Matsushita. Entering the electronics market with a new two socket style light bulb. The company was started from Mr Matsushita own home in Osaka where he had 3 employees to help him build is business.
In 1923 Panasonic invented & manufactured a new kind of bicycle lamp, they then invented the worlds first radio 8 years later. In 1935 came Panasonic first television & to this day they continue to lead the way as one of the top television manufacturers. It was the year of 1935 that Panasonic began to see massive growth as a company, they were producing 600 different products & for the first time were reaching markets over seas. From their first 3 employees back in 1918 they had now grown to employ 3500. By the 1960′s the number of Panasonic employees had grown to a huge 28000.

Panasonic set up a company in the UK (Panasonic UK) which was first established in 1972. This Panasonic UK Company has experienced substantial growth & has become a leader in the supply of business & consumer electronic products. The UK head offices can be found at Bracknell & is supported by logistics Centre at Northampton which operates nationally. These Panasonic UK headquarters currently employ around 520 staff & annually turns over a profit of over £700 million.
Panasonic UK also have other separate companies in the UK which deal with the sales of broadcasting & industrial products.
